Sunday School equals small group relationships!

Each Sunday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Mt. Carmel offers a variety of classes.

FOR CHILDREN:

Nursery care is provided during this time for infants, birth through 2 years of age.

Children, ages 3-5th grade, have their special small group classes with snacks, songs, a lesson, and many times a craft.

FOR YOUTH:

Youth, grades 6-12, meet together and learn about God and His Word and how we can apply it in our lives today.

FOR THE ADULTS:

Adults are free to choose from a variety of classes; currently the church offers four adult classes. Some are large, most are small, and one is a ladies only class. 

Coffee, donuts, and fruit are available to all.

Children's Church is a time of large group fun!

Once Sunday school ends, at 10:30, Children's Church begins, at 10:45. Children's Church is for ages 3 through 4th grade. 5th grade children and older are required to sit with their parents and listen to the sermon during this time.

We have several teachers and helpers that alternate months and volunteer their time to help lead each precious child to God. Each Sunday Children's Church service is an exciting adventure as no one ever knows what to expect. There may be a handful of children or an overwhelming number. This keeps the service fresh and the volunteers on their toes.

During Children's Church the children are offered snacks, and they have a few minutes of visiting with each other while everyone is showing up before the program officially starts. Once started the children are seated and get to enjoy a puppet show along with some music and then the lesson and a fun craft. Depending on the amount of children that attend, after the puppet show, the Pre-K (ages 3-5) will separate from the older group and go back for their more personalized lesson.

NOTE: Parents are required to bring their child(ren) into the building to be checked in. Once the child(ren) are checked in, the parent will receive a pick-up tag, like a receipt. When it is time to pick up their children, the parent must come into the building and return the pick-up tag in order to retrieve their child(ren). This is one of our security measures we have in place.

For your convenience, we offer nursery care for ages birth through 2 years old from 9:30-12 noon each Sunday.
